Wait, what is a Perk certificate?
A Perk certificate is a printable certificate issued by UrbanDaddy that allows you to lay claim to a Perk. Generally, you will print this out and present it to the Perks Partner to receive the full benefit and bounty of your Perk. (You will receive your certificate link via email, and you can download it online—please look for it one business day after you make your purchase.)
You never sent me my Perk certificate. How do I get it?
You can retrieve your certificate by:
  • Going to perks.urbandaddy.com and signing in to your Perks account.
  • Once you are logged in, click on the “My Perks” link located in top right-hand corner of the page.
  • On the dashboard, Click the “Certificates” tab, located between “My Perks” and “My Transactions.”
  • Scroll down to your Perk and click on the “Redemption Instructions” link.
  • Click “Download” and a PDF of your certificate will load.
Wait, how do I redeem my Perk?
Redemption differs from Perk to Perk, but each Perk will contain redemption instructions that will tell you everything you need to know. They can be found in your “My Perks” account information and in your emailed invoice. Please refer to the question above to access the Redemption Instructions section of your Perks account.

In general a certificate Perk can be redeemed in one of three ways:
  1. Print the certificate and present it at our Perks Partner’s location upon use. For example, this could be for an all-inclusive brunch.
  2. Your name will be added to a guest list upon purchase, and you won’t need your certificate. The name added to the guest list will be the same as the name listed on the credit card used for purchase. This is usually for a one-time event.
  3. Use your unique certificate code to purchase a specific product or receive a discount on the product(s) of your choosing on our Perks Partner’s website. Your certificate code is located in the top-left corner of your certificate and should be entered in a gift/voucher/credit/promo code box at checkout on our Perks Partner’s website.

Your specific redemption details will be found on your “My Perks” page in the “Certificates” tab and then under “Redemption Instructions,” as well as on the specific Perk’s page. Click here to search for your Perk.)

I bought three Perk certificates for brunch and want to give them to my friends. Can they use them?
Yes. Certificates are redeemed based on their certificate code, located in the top-left corner of the certificate. Your friends will just need to present the certificates upon use. Remember: certificates need to be printed. They can’t just be on your phone. Make sure you have three separate certificates rather than three copies of one certificate. (Each certificate is numbered. If you purchased three certificates, each one will have a “1,” “2” or “3” in the Perk certificate number box, located in the top-right corner of the certificate.)
Wait, I just acquired a restaurant and/or nightlife Perk. Is tax and gratuity included?
Usually not... and we expect you to tip generously when you use your Perk (because we know you’re a giver). Where tax and gratuity are covered in the Perk’s purchase price, we’ll let you know in the “Fine Print.”
I can’t go to the one-time (date-specific) curated restaurant Perk I bought. How can I get a refund?
Please let us know ASAP if this is the case. Our Perks Partners give us a deadline to confirm everyone who has RSVP’d, and after that point we are unable to give refunds or credits. Please include your order number and contact us here.
My certificate expired—can I get a credit? Can I still use it for face value?
For all non-date-specific events purchased after September 15, 2015, the face value (purchase price) of your certificate can only be used towards a purchase with the Perks Partner on your certificate. This will also be noted in the certificate fine print along with the purchase price. The Perks Partner is considered the holder and issuer of all certificates.

Refunds

Can I get a refund?
In general, we work within the confines of our Perks Partners’ policies. We’ll always let you know the return/exchange policy in the “Returns & Exchanges” section of the Perk listing. Note that it’s always a good idea to check the “Fine Print” for a particular Perk listing before purchasing in case any special terms or unique conditions regarding returns or exchanges apply.

If you are unable to redeem a certificate that is not an event or a one-time (date-specific) curated restaurant Perk within the redemption time frame, and we have confirmation from our Perks Partner as such, we will issue a Perks credit for the purchase price. Your credit can be used toward anything you want on UrbanDaddy. Yes, we said anything.

Returns & Exchanges

I just lost 10 pounds! I need a smaller size. How do I do this?

I want to return a Perk that stated “All sales are final” in the Returns and Exchange section.
We’re sorry to hear you don’t like your Perk. We’re always working to get you the best deal on our Perks, and as part of the deal some of these items are final sale. A final sale item cannot be exchanged or returned for a refund or Perks credit because of the nature of the item itself (e.g. food) or because it has been so heavily discounted. Of course, if the item you received has a manufacturer defect, we can help get a replacement shipped to you. If this is the case, please contact us ASAP. Claims with many of our Perks Partners must be made within 5 business days of delivery.

Tracking

I lost my tracking information. Where is it?
If you already received an email but misplaced your tracking number, you can find it on your “My Perks” page, in the “All Transactions” tab.
I ordered multiple products and I only have a tracking number for one of them.

I’m confused. You keep saying Perks Partner—what does that mean?
We scour the world for the best products and experiences for our valued Perkers. Once we find these products and experiences, we partner with these companies—the Perks Partners—in order to make it as convenient as possible for our members to enjoy those great products and experiences. To put it another way: we’re doing it all for you.
Wait, do I have to pay for shipping?
It depends. Shipping varies from Perk to Perk. (We’ll always let you know in the “Shipping & Handling” section of a Perk listing.)
How do I unsubscribe from your email list?
Each email we send contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page. You can also unsubscribe by submitting a request to perksupport@urbandaddy.com and including the email address you would like unsubscribed. (You may opt to use a separate unsubscribe process managed by your company.)
